Heavy Equipment Operators – Milledgeville, GA

Power Labor is hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for a long-term industrial project in Milledgeville, Georgia.

We are looking for dependable, experienced operators to work on a project involving the excavation and GPS bulldozer and a wheel loader relocation of old ash and dirt material at a former power plant facility.

Position Details

• Location: Milledgeville, GA 31061
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10-hour shifts
• Hours: 50 hours per week
• Pay: $26–$29 per hour
• Per Diem: $150 per day
• Project Duration: Through December 2026, with the possibility of extending longer
• Employment: Long-term project

Equipment Experience

Candidates with experience operating any of the following are encouraged to apply:

• 50,000-lb dump trucks
• Wheel loaders
• Bulldozers
• Excavators

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy construction equipment
• Excavate, load, haul, and move ash/dirt material
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Follow site safety procedures and instructions
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work efficiently as part of a construction/industrial crew

Requirements

• Previous heavy equipment operating experience required
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• Must be willing to complete a 10-panel drug screening
• Must pass a background check , as required for work at the Georgia Power facility
• Resume or detailed work history showing previous equipment experience
