Echo Tech – Echocardiography

Schedule - Shift: 4x10s, Monday–Friday (days scheduled can vary week-to-week; same day off not guaranteed) - On-call: Approximately 1 day/week; must respond and be on-site within 30 minutes when on call - Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks

Assignment Details - Assignment length: 13 weeks

Requirements - Minimum experience: 1 year - Required certifications: BLS; echo credential required (confirm with recruiter) - Patient age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics - Experience performing studies in ICU/ED settings - Familiarity with major vendors/PACS (GE, Philips, Siemens, etc.)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography studies for diverse patient populations.
• Conduct adult and pediatric echo including 2D and 3D imaging.
• Administer transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and stress echocardiograms (both treadmill and pharmacologic).
• Implement color Doppler techniques, contrast imaging, and LV strain/volume assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and imaging results.

Compliance / Notes - Must be willing to work 2 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year. - Travelers may be required to complete pre-start modules (approximately 16 hours average). - Valid state license required; pending license submissions may be allowed (confirm timing with recruiter). - Documentation required at submission: SSN, DOB, RTO (time-off requests), copy of certifications, 2 references covering 1 year within last 3 years.
