LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with our client, a leading healthcare organization on Long Island, seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while contributing to the financial operations of a well-established organization. This is Temp to Hire onsite and can pay $40-$45 hourly depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations

· Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

· Analyze financial statements and investigate variances

· Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities

· Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity

· Assist with audits and compliance requirements

· Partner with operational departments on accounting and finance initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

3+ years of accounting experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Advanced Excel skills

Healthcare experience a plus
