Patient Care Technician

The Patient Care Technician provides personal care and related services to patients. The Patient Care Technician may operate as a patient's caregiver under the direction, instruction and supervision of a doctor, nurse and/or medical professional.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least one (1) year of successful work experience preferred
• National Certified Patient Care Technician (NCPCT) certification preferred and may be required per state/contract
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
