Our commitment to the highest standards is absolute, from the time the client walks in the door to the moment the plasma leaves our facility. Olgam Life focuses solely on the aggregation aspect of the donation process, enabling us to focus more closely on the care our donors receive. Hours are from:  5:30 am to 3:00 pmDays:  Sunday through ThursdayDays off:  Friday and SaturdaySalary range:  $40an hourPaid TrainingPaid PTO, medical benefits etc. after 60 days of employmentBrooklyn, NY - Flatbush Avenue Purpose and RoleThis position is responsible for performing routine functions delegated by the Responsible Physician of an Olgam Plasma Center location. The Physician Substitute will ensure donor suitability for donation, and follow all federal, local, and organizational standards related to this determination. Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesCounsels ' donors on test results, eligibility, high-risk behavior, and applied Provides on-site medical coverage for regulatory compliance during operating hours where donors are Provides limited emergency medical care to donors experiencing adverse events.Performs health assessments for donors as required and consents all donors for plasma Leads registration and screening activities to monitor and manage throughout times in the medical reception production Evaluates and determines approval for whole blood sample Supports test result reviews for donor Coordinates reception personnel production area coverage to ensure optimal production Participates in all center leadership discussions and meetings as requiredProvides frequent updates to center management of personal shortages, inventory concerns, and equipment issues in the reception Provides personnel training and development in production areas, as well as skill development for customer service driven Maintains skills in the medical and reception production areas of the center.Follows all applicable SOPs and all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.Follows all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.  RequirementsGraduate of an accredited educational program in nursing, or physician A minimum of 1 years' experience working in a regulated environment is A minimum of 1 years' experience supervising others is preferredMaintains current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).Maintains current license and renewals as Organizational skills and attention to Good verbal and written communication Professional communication and the ability to inform and report appropriately to management.Scheduling flexibility to ensure appropriate center support and Ability to execute multi-step technical driven Familiarization with electronic systems/platforms used to organize, track, and execute tasks.Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for a minimum of 8 hours in a scheduled work day. Education(For NY Centers Only) Current LPN, RN, or PA (Physician Assistant) certification is required.(For FL Centers Only) Current EMT, Paramedic, LPN, RN, or PA (Physician Assistant) certification is required.Current CPR required.A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
