Description The Carolyn Rowan Center for Women’s Health and Wellness is planning to open in 2026. The Carolyn Rowan Center will elevate women’s health care to a level of luxury by bringing together women’s health services at a single location—a design element that will be central to ensuring women receive care and attention of the highest quality. Located at 1427 Madison Ave, the Carolyn Rowan Center will offer multidisciplinary health services and anchor additional women’s health services provided across the Mount Sinai Health System. Tying it all together will be a team of dedicated patient navigators, who will be available to help patients schedule appointments as well as manage coordination of care for those following more complex treatment plans. The LPN is a professional individual who supports quality patient care, performs routine examinations, assists physicians and registered nurses with daily clinical activity and performs standard diagnostic procedures. Responsibilities Plans and manages patient care according to each patients needs. Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition. Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. Provides routine care for patients. Reviews medical charts. Accompanies patients to their rooms. Assists physicians and registered nurses. Communicates with patients and their families. Performs standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, spirometry, etc. Prepares specimens for lab courier. Administers medications. Provides wound care. Prepares and administers injections. Verifies that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately. Observes and records patients conditions and reactions to medications and treatment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Completion of a New York State-approved training program in licensed practical nursing. BLS certification. 1-2 years recent nursing experience; preferred in medical or multispecialty practice. Active New York State LPN licensure. Compensation The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $23‑0137 - $34‑5206 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
