Fund Manager

To drive financial excellence in life sciences research, the full-time remote Fund Manager will oversee the management of $5-7 million in operating and extramural funds, develop grant proposals, prepare budgets, and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines while collaborating with faculty members. Key responsibilities Manage operating and extramural funds, ensuring compliance with financial policies Develop comprehensive grant proposals and prepare detailed budgets Generate financial reports and projections to support decision-making processes Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in extramural fund management (preferred) Strong knowledge of federal and state contract and grant policies Ability to analyze financial data and generate accurate reports Proficiency in using online purchasing and accounts payable systems
