Accounting Assistant
Velocity Flex
Location: Spring, TX
Entry Level Accounting graduate
- Strong skills in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly with Excel and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Netsuite if possible
- Good organizational skills, time management and attention to detail are all critical - Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Some experience with AI programs such as Chat GPT and Claude
- Good basic accounting skills
Tasks:
- AR and AP duties including but not limited to creating and sending out customer invoices, calling customers for payment inquiries, and entering supplier invoices
- helping oversee some of the businesses day-to-day accounting processes and other administrative tasks as needed.
- responsible for complying with all company policies and procedures
- interact as needed during annual audits
- based at our office in NW Houston, Spring area
- Work with the accounting management team to streamline processes
