Service Dispatcher

Location: Houston, TX (On-Site)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay: $21.50-$26.50 per hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do

• Coordinate daily schedules for HVAC service technicians
• Dispatch technicians efficiently based on location, skill set, and customer priority
• Monitor technician progress and adjust schedules throughout the day as needed
• Communicate appointment updates with customers and field staff
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding appointment status and scheduling
• Coordinate emergency service requests and prioritize urgent calls
• Enter and maintain accurate customer, equipment, and job information in company software
• Work closely with the Service Manager to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction
• Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, restoration, or another service industry preferred
• Experience dispatching 8-15 field technicians preferred
• Experience with FieldEdge or similar service management software strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working with scheduling and computer software
• Ability to remain calm and prioritize during busy periods
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Positive attitude and team-first mentality
• Dependable attendance and professionalism
