Title/Billing Specialist

Title/Billing Specialist Preston Auto Group has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven Title/Billing Specialist. This role processes titles and registrations and closes car deals by verifying the completeness of documentation. As our Title/Billing Specialist, you'll keep titles, registrations, and deal paperwork moving accurately and on time — from state filings to payroll reconciliation. This role calls for someone precise, organized, and comfortable owning a high volume of detail-heavy work. Responsibilities

• Verify data, complete state forms, disburse taxes and fees, and submit to the state
• Process new car and pre-owned registrations on the dealer's software system
• Process pre-owned vehicle title transfers
• Prepare and distribute title envelopes
• Maintain follow-up on all incoming titles
• Maintain and reconcile schedules for tax, title, and license payable and lien payoffs
• Identify internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Assistant Controller
• Maintain error logs
• Process payoffs on trade-ins and floor plan, pull contracts, and forward to financial institutions
• Verify Finance and Insurance (F&I) data against documents
• Reconcile inventory schedules weekly and monthly
• Reconcile and complete sales consultant payroll semi-monthly
• Verify F&I logs against accounting data before month-end
• Process rebates
• Attend weekly department meetings

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Notary Bond required
