Role Overview Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medications. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development. Develops individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and communicates effectively across care settings. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
