Remote Copy Strategist

Coalition Technologies is seeking a highly skilled **Remote Copy Strategist** with strong copywriting, editing, proofreading, content strategy, and team leadership abilities. This role is ideal for someone with experience in **writing, marketing, advertising, web content, brand voice, SEO content, or digital marketing who is ready to manage content production across multiple client accounts.**

As a Copy Strategist, you will help plan, manage, edit, and optimize content for eCommerce and lead generation websites. You will work with SEO copywriters, clients, digital producers, designers, developers, and other team members to ensure high-quality content is completed, approved, and published.

This is a unique role that combines copywriting, editing, content strategy, SEO, client communication, and team management. Candidates with backgrounds in writing, marketing, advertising, public relations, creative writing, web content development, or digital marketing may excel in this position.

This role is best suited for someone who can write and edit at a high level, manage content workflows, provide clear feedback to writers, protect client brand voice, and ensure content is accurate, polished, and aligned with SEO goals.

As a Copy Strategist, your duties will include:

* Planning and managing new content for eCommerce and lead generation websites across a portion of Coalition Technologies’ 200+ client accounts
* Helping clients attract new customers, improve Google search rankings through SEO, and increase visibility through GEO and AEO strategies
* Leading a team of SEO copywriters by providing direction, support, feedback, and information needed to complete high-quality work
* Delegating copywriting assignments while focusing on content strategy, editing, quality control, and account-level content management
* Acting as the supervising copy editor for assigned client accounts
* Managing each brand’s voice, identity, value propositions, and content quality
* Ensuring all content uses proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and formatting
* Conducting keyword research for each client website page
* Learning how to pair client products and services with relevant search terms and SEO opportunities
* Speaking directly with clients about copy production, including kickoff calls, onboarding discussions, and regular alignment calls
* Ensuring web content accurately represents each client’s brand, products, services, and goals
* Collaborating with digital producers, link builders, designers, developers, and other team members to publish content on client websites
* Coordinating web content for multiple ongoing campaigns
* Supporting additional content needs, which may include social media content, email marketing copy, press releases, and promotional materials

The ideal candidate will have:

* Excellent written English with strong proofreading, editing, grammar, punctuation, and syntax skills
* Ability to write and edit at an excellent level without the use of AI tools
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, accurate content
* Interest in learning SEO, web writing, GEO, AEO, and digital content strategy
* Ability to write, edit, and follow strict content production guidelines
* Leadership potential and an understanding of proper delegation
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion with client information
* General understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Tumblr, LinkedIn, and similar platforms
* Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills
* Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
* Reliable workstation, including a fast computer, microphone, webcam, reliable internet, and reliable power

For candidates located in **California, New York, Washington, and Colorado**, the starting base pay for this position ranges from **$17 to $35 per hour.** Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. For candidates outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, compensation may fall outside the listed range.
