Boomi Lead SME

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Boomi Lead SME to come aboard a contract to hire opportunity with one of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assess the current Boomi implementation and identify gaps
* Define and establish recommended architecture, standards, and best practices
* Review the team's technical work and provide guidance
* Establish a consistent technical direction across the Boomi environment
* Serve as the primary technical escalation point for the team
* Work closely with team on technical decisions and priorities
* Lead technically without taking on day-to-day people management responsibilities
* Promote cross-training and shared technical knowledge across the team
* Develop basic troubleshooting procedures to reduce dependency on individual developers

REQUIREMENTS:
Required Technical Skills:
* Boomi integration development
* JavaScript
* Groovy
* Integration architecture
* Infrastructure awareness
* Monitoring and dashboarding
* Cost-conscious process design and optimization
* Troubleshooting
* Technical leadership
* AI-First Development
* AI-assisted and agentic development is an important requirement

The team intends to use tools such as Claude and Boomi Companion to accelerate integration development based on clearly defined:
* Inputs
* Outputs
* Business rules
* Validations
* Candidates should be comfortable working in an AI-first dev

Nice to have:
* Experience with Boomi Event Streams, Flow, API Management, and advanced platform capabilities
* Experience integrating with Salesforce, Workday, HubSpot, and enterprise databases
* Experience implementing governance models and integration Centers of Excellence
* Understanding of AWS infrastructure, including EC2 and supporting integration environments
* Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows
* Company is heavily investing in AI-enabled development practices; Ideal candidates will have experience leveraging tools such as: Claude; Boomi Companion; AI-assisted integration development; Agentic development approaches
* AI-First Development experience (Highly desired)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
