Lifeguards are responsible for general supervision, safety, maintenance and excellent customer service. **What you will do** * Has a neat professional appearance, with rescue tube properly placed, while maintaining proper surveillance of patrons and guests. Greets members and guest when entering the pool area with a nod of acknowledgement when possible, using names when appropriate.* Works assigned shifts, or finds an appropriate substitute following all proper procedures and documentation.* Supervises and controls all activity in the pool area and on the patio so that a safe environment is maintained.* Responsible for monitoring and appropriately recording water quality, temperature and appropriate fill levels in pool and whirlpool.* Maintains clean environment, proper equipment storage and completes scheduled shift duties. Ensures the pool is prepared in a timely manner prior to the start of scheduled activities. **Qualifications** **Education** * High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred) **Experience** * 1 year Lifeguard experience (Preferred) **Licenses and Certifications** * Lifeguard - American Red Cross (ARC) within 30 Days(Required)* First Aid - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)* Certified Auto External Defibrillator (AED) - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)To learn more about being a team member with Riverside Health System visit us at #J-18808-Ljbffr
