Were looking for you to become a valuable part of the team.

Family Nurse Practitioner details

• On-site at Tennessee DOH Western TN Region Benton and Henry Counties, based in Camden, TN
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST
• 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
• 13-month contract, renewable 07/01/2026 through 07/31/2027
• Occasional travel to alternate county health department locations

Family Nurse Practitioner duties

• Deliver primary care clinical services to uninsured adults
• Deliver wellness, preventive, and contraceptive care to eligible patients
• Provide clinical screening and treatment of communicable diseases, including STDs and Hepatitis C
• Promote disease prevention through patient education and ACIP-recommended immunizations
• Follow health department guidelines, protocols, and program recommendations
• Participate in county and regional activities as requested by supervisors

Family Nurse Practitioner qualifications

• MSN or DNP with Family Nurse Practitioner specialty focus required
• Active, unrestricted Tennessee APRN and RN licenses required
• Active FNP certification from ANCC or AANP required
• Primary care experience preferred
• Valid Tennessee drivers license required; personal transportation required
• Must be a current Tennessee resident or willing to relocate prior to start
