My client is a premier insurance, risk management, and financial services firm headquartered in Melville, NY. The company serves more than 15,000 clients and manages over $100 million in insurance premiums annually. Compensation & Opportunity

• Salary: $50,000–$100,000+ base (flexible based on experience)

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Insurance Account Manager / Sales Associate role based in Melville, NY, with flexibility to work from home on select days.

This position focuses on managing client relationships, supporting risk management initiatives, assisting with insurance program placements, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction
• Provide tailored risk management solutions
• Assist with insurance program placement, including carrier negotiations
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and other client-facing materials
• Maintain accurate client records, including CRM documentation
• Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and service teams to deliver comprehensive solutions

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Experience in client relationship management or customer service
• Familiarity with insurance practices and managing client portfolios
• Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and presentation tools
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred, not required)
• Relevant insurance licenses or designations are a plus, including:
• Property & Casualty (Workers’ Compensation, D&O, Professional Liability)
