New Virtual Medicine, a small psychiatric practice located in Schenectady NY, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented medical receptionist for front desk operations and patient coordination.

The is a full-time position: 9am - 5pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; 11am - 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday.

Responsibilities include:

• Scheduling and patient communication
• Managing intake forms and records
• Assisting with general office administration and operations
• Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare setting

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
• At least one year of receptionist or front desk experience in a medical office
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional communication skills
• Comfort following detailed instructions and established procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office or clinic
• Formal training in medical office administration or a related healthcare administrative field
• Familiarity with medical office software or EHR systems

Compensation :

• $18.00-$23.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications
• 12 days of paid time off (PTO) annually, accrued monthly
• 6 paid holidays per year
• PTO becomes available after the completion of a 3-month introductory period.
