Phlebotomist Float Full Time

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist for coverage of medical clinics in and around Denver Metro, CO. Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 6:00am‑6:00pm (additional hours/days may be requested). Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program. Six months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency. Coverage for Northern Colorado: Westminster, Longmont, Arvada, Thornton, Broomfield and surrounding areas. Proof of exceptional customer service. Ability to work in fast‑paced/high‑volume environments. Must pass a standardized color‑blindness test. At least 21 years of age. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Incentives Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: Phlebotomists may be eligible for the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Pay Range & Float Incentive Pay Range: $21.73 – $28.49 per hour. Float incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
