Job Title: Pediatric NP/PA/RN - Lewes, DE

Department: Pediatrics

Reports to: Pediatrician/Medical Director

Shift: Monday to Friday (8 am to 4:30 pm)

Setting: Outpatient

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric NP/PA/RN - Lewes, DE

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive health assessments of pediatric patients, including physical exams, medical histories, and developmental screenings.
Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions such as respiratory illnesses, infections, allergies, and chronic conditions.
Provide patient education to families regarding health maintenance, nutrition, immunizations, and illness prevention.
Administer vaccinations, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret lab results.
Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
Provide follow-up care and support for chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and developmental disorders.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Educate parents and caregivers on managing common childhood health concerns, medication administration, and treatment options.
Ensure a compassionate and patient-centered environment for children and families.
Participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education to stay current with pediatric care advancements.

Qualifications:

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP): Master's degree in Nursing, certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), and current state licensure.
Physician Assistant (PA): Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies and current state licensure.
Registered Nurse (RN): Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse, with pediatric nursing experience.
BLS/ACLS certification required (for RN, NP, PA).
Experience in pediatric care and a passion for working with children is highly preferred.
