Fiber Technician

GridSource is seeking Fully Qualified Fiber Technicians to join our crew in the Boise, ID area! $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS! We seek individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional quality every day. The ideal candidate anticipates customer needs and provides solutions that address both current and future requirements. What You’ll Do Perform Residential Fiber installations Observe all safety rules and regulations Assist other technical personnel in the performance of their duties when requested Maintain a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company's products and services to customers Meeting accountability/dependability requirements (on time, on load, and serve on call as needed) Ask relevant questions to ensure problems are resolved quickly or to clarify information or directions Assume all other duties as assigned What You’ll Need Reliable truck, van or SUV capable of transporting tools, equipment, and a 28’ ladder (ladder rack preferred) Own tools (drills and standard telecommunications hand tools) Android smartphone and Windows 10 laptop Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – lace‑up boots with a defined 1/2‑inch heel, hard hat, reflective safety vest, fall resistor, safety cones (other equipment may be required by local management) Comfortable working at heights up to 25’ and safely moving and lifting up to 80 lbs.
