Senior Accountant

Johnson Service Group has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Accountant with prior public audit experience for a SaaS company located in San Diego, CA. Direct Hire | Hybrid | $120 - $130K Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing Accounting team in San Diego. This role plays a critical part in managing complex consolidations, M&A and intercompany transactions, and financial reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong command of GAAP/IFRS, and enjoys collaborating cross-functionally to support business growth. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements across multiple business units and regions Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory reporting requirements Assist with preparation of supporting schedules and audit‑ready documentation Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations across multiple subsidiaries Perform and review complex account reconciliations, including multi‑currency activity Partner with Tax to support transfer pricing and accurate intercompany allocations Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes, automation, and reporting efficiency Collaborate with IT and Finance to enhance workflows and accounting system functionality Work closely with FP&A, Tax, and Legal teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance Provide financial insights to support acquisitions, investments, and overall business growth Support budgeting and forecasting efforts with detailed financial analysis Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 6+ years of experience in a corporate or multi‑entity accounting environment Strong expertise in GAAP, IFRS, and multi‑entity consolidations Hands‑on experience with M&A accounting Advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills Ability to manage complex intercompany and multi‑currency transactions Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data integrity Ability to work independently while being a strong team contributor Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Experience supporting M&A transactions and post‑merger integration CPA or progress toward certification a plus Big 4 experience highly desirable Familiarity with transfer pricing concepts Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
