Join an emergency care team providing nursing services to patients with conditions ranging from minor injuries to critical illnesses. This role is ideal for an RN with recent acute care emergency department experience or critical care experience. Multiple shift options are available, with rotating weekends and additional shift differentials.

Job Type

Schedule

• Day shifts, rotating weekends
• Mid shifts, rotating weekends
• Night shifts, rotating weekends
• Night shift differential: +$3.00 per hour
• Weekend differential: +$2.00 per hour
• Specialty pay: +$2.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.
• Identify expected patient outcomes and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Implement appropriate care strategies based on patient needs and conditions.
• Manage multiple patients simultaneously and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
• Provide discharge instructions, follow-up care guidance, and referrals.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare departments.
• Maintain patient safety and provide compassionate, patient-focused care.

Requirements

• At least one year of recent acute care Emergency Department RN experience required.
• Critical care RN experience may be accepted.
• Current Florida RN license, approved multistate license, or ability to obtain the required Florida licensure before starting.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Registered Nurse Diploma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before employment begins.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of starting employment.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days.
• Strong clinical judgment, multitasking, decision-making, and communication skills.
