Job Summary Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Catheterization Labs (Cath Lab) PRN – Your experience matters. As a registered nurse in the Cath Lab at North Alabama Medical Center, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease, supporting a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and an interventional radiologist. Cath Lab Unit North Alabama Medical Center features four Cardiac Catheterization Labs, including one electrophysiology study room. The cath lab supports 13 cardiologists, two vascular surgeons, and one interventional radiologist. It is the only interventional cath lab within 75 miles of Florence capable of treating heart‑attack patients. Responsibilities Initiate and continue nursing care for patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures. Administer drugs and medications, and monitor hemodynamic status. Set up all cardiac procedures and maintain equipment readiness. Use specialized plan‑of‑care interventions to enhance patient journeys and outcomes. Qualifications Current state RN license. Basic Life Support certification. One to three years of work experience. Schedule PRN – Days.
