About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Executive Director for its Dentists Professional Liability Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the Trust's affairs and resources, serving the needs and interests of the Trust as per the Mission Statement and Bylaws, and managing day-to-day operations. This role involves public relations as a primary spokesperson, maintaining and growing membership, and ensuring members are supported in their professional well-being. The Associate Executive Director will also be involved in claims handling, including assisting members with risk management, evaluating claims, and communicating with members about the claims process. Applicants must have an active license to practice dentistry in the state of Colorado, a minimum of 10 years' of experience in the dental field, and an extensive background in the administration of dental malpractice claims. Familiarity with the legal process, litigation management techniques, and self-insured major medical insurance is essential. The role requires the ability to motivate and empower, a thorough understanding of general dentistry, and the unique culture of dental practice. Effective communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead multiple projects are also key qualifications for this position.
