Production Lead - 2nd Shift

Benefits Overview Medical (Wellmark Blue Cross & Blue Shield) Diamond Vogel is seeking a Production Lead to support Packaging and Manufacturing operations at our paint manufacturing facility. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, providing on‑floor guidance to team members, and supporting safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations. The Production Lead works closely with Coordinators and Supervisors to meet safety, quality, and throughput goals while supporting continuous improvement efforts. This position works 1st shift, Monday–Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., with overtime opportunities on Fridays. What you’ll do Provide hands‑on leadership and support to hourly production team members Coordinate daily production assignments to meet schedule and quality goals Step into production and packaging roles as needed to support operations Monitor workflow, address issues, and adjust priorities in a fast‑paced environment Complete production documentation, shop orders, and ERP transactions accurately Track materials usage, scrap, and production data to support inventory accuracy Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives Assist with onboarding and training of new team members Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations What we’re looking for 1–3 years of manufacturing or production experience with informal or formal leadership responsibilities Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
