The system recently opened a full service imaging center in Howard County in Maryland. The ideal candidate would be experienced in providing services in the interpretation of X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, general Nuclear Medicine and Fluoroscopy. * Join an established subspecialized team of 12 physicians * Teleradiology coverage provides final reads during overnight. Weekday evening coverage (until 10 pm) and weekend call (until 5pm) is shared evenly amongst the radiologists. * Access to fully digital state-of-the-art imaging equipment: Siemens Dual Source Drive CT; 64-slice Siemens & GE CT; 2 Siemens 1.5T MRI; GE ultrasound; Hologic 3D mammography; Hologic 3D upright stereotactic biopsy; needleless wire-free LOCalization system; 3T MRI * Deliver high-precision diagnostic interpretations across a broad spectrum of modalities—including MRI, CT, and 3D Mammography—to provide clinical clarity for a diverse patient population. * Lead the diagnostic component of specialized care by performing advanced breast interventions and participating in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards to guide life-saving treatment plans * Employed position within a nonprofit health system * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology * Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration About the Facility * 251 -bed hospital with multidisciplinary institutes, including cancer, cardiovascular, endocrine and orthopedics which provide a broad patient population * Trauma designation: Level III * Serving a population of approximately 738,000 * Integrated referral network * Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system Why Physicians Choose Ascension * Physician-led, collaborative culture * Long-term practice stability * National network with local autonomy * Mission-centered care rooted in service What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: * Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job
