Job Title: GIS Analyst Job ID: 25-05882 Location: Lansing, MI Duration: 12 months of contract A minimum of two years of professional experience is required in GIS, cartography, CADD, or a related field. Responsibilities Write programs and develop user interfaces, menus, and macro-level commands to meet user needs, in addition to performing complex spatial analyses and producing reports according to customer specifications. Assist in the development of geographic information systems that create, maintain, or leverage geospatial basemap information. Digitize and maintain spatial databases; document procedures, validate data for accuracy and completeness, complete approved metadata forms and produce maps of the resulting information. Update and maintain metadata for new and existing open data items. Evaluate information and data from outside sources to determine the quality of the data. Act as a consultant to internal customers during their use, development and quality assessment of spatial databases. Provide EGLE User support as needed. Qualifications ArcGIS Pro experience is required. Experience with web services is required. Experience with Esri Enterprise (SDE via Catalog) databases is a plus. Spatial Analyst experience is a plus. FME or Data Interoperability extension experience is a plus. ArcGIS Online (AGOL) and Portal experience. Experience Builder skill. Dashboard skill. Core Tasks Create basemaps. Create tile cache. Imagery analysis. Create, adjust, correct, convert and distribute base maps and thematic data. Produce and publish maps in ArcGIS Pro, digital, paper and web (AGOL) formats. #J-18808-Ljbffr
