Licensed Psychiatric Technician

We're seeking dependable Licensed Psychiatric Technicians (LPTs) for full-time opportunities in Santa Rosa, CA. This role offers consistent hours in a residential setting and is open to both experienced clinicians and new graduates looking to build their careers in behavioral health.

Position Highlights

• Location: Santa Rosa, CA
• Setting: Residential Group Homes
• Schedule: Full-Time (32–40 hours per week)

Shifts Available:

• AM: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• PM: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• NOC: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Role Focus

• Perform general psychiatric and nursing care within scope of practice
• Provide supervision, behavior support, and direct resident care
• Implement and support individualized treatment and behavior plans
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning
• Oversee DSPs/CNAs when functioning as lead staff
• Deliver structured programming and therapeutic support throughout shifts
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care protocols
• Report concerns in accordance with mandated reporter guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active CA LPT license (Required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid CA driver's license with acceptable driving record
• New graduates welcome; prior experience in behavioral health or human services preferred
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
• Reliable and flexible with scheduling

• Must meet all federal, state, and facility requirements
• Understanding of HIPAA and resident confidentiality
• Must be at least 18 years of age
