CT Scan Technologist - Inpatient

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Wednesday: 8:00am to 8:30pm; Thursday-Friday: 7:00am to 7:30pm. No call is required. Overtime available!

Job Description: Under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, the CT Scan Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic CT scans, assisting the radiologist in diagnostic procedures, and ensuring optimal patient care while aligning with organizational values. The incumbent will coordinate daily workflow and assist in the throughput of emergency room patients, inpatients, and outpatients, while monitoring quality control as per departmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
• Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Coordinate with the CT department for effective workflow and patient throughput.
• Maintain and operate sophisticated imaging equipment and systems.
• Stay current with advancements in CT technology and imaging standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of two years clinical experience in CT imaging, with trauma experience required.
• American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification (R) and AART (CT).
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• AHA BLS certification within 60 days upon hire.
• Travel experience preferred.
