Associate Financial Advisor

The Associate Financial Advisor will support a Senior Advisor throughout the financial planning and client service process. You will help prepare for client meetings, develop and maintain financial plans, analyze client information, document conversations, and follow through on recommendations. You will also work closely with our Client Service team to understand how we onboard clients and deliver a consistent service experience. As your knowledge and experience grow, you will take on greater responsibility in client conversations, planning recommendations, and relationship management. Responsibilities: Gather and analyze client information, including financial goals, assets, risk tolerance, and planning needs. Prepare financial plans, investment analyses, portfolio recommendations, illustrations, and meeting materials. Participate in client meetings, document key decisions and next steps, and coordinate timely follow-up. Help develop, implement, and maintain financial plans covering investments, retirement, insurance, taxes, and other relevant planning needs. Use financial planning software and Salesforce to maintain accurate client records and track work. Partner with advisors and Client Service colleagues to support client onboarding and ongoing service. Build trusted relationships with clients through clear communication, careful follow-through, and sound judgment. Follow firm policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements in all client work. Required Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree and at least four years of financial services experience. Series 65 license required; Life and Health insurance licensing and CFP certification preferred. Experience supporting wealth management clients in a client-facing role. Familiarity with financial planning software, investment portfolios, and asset allocation. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Comfort learning new technology and adapting as client needs and the industry evolve.
