Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We're searching for a dedicated professional to support a Pre-K Special Education program, delivering compassionate guidance to children aged 3-5 with diverse developmental needs. This full-time role, set within a vibrant elementary school environment, runs from August 4th, 2026 through May 21st, 2027, offering you the chance to make each day count.
What you bring:
- Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsements covering both Special Education and General Education for Pre-K.
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher or Paraprofessional, with a strong understanding of early childhood education.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to nurturing young learners with varying abilities.
- Skill in supporting students who are non-verbal or have limited verbal abilities.
- Ability to confidently manage toileting/diapering routines and assist with feeding for Pre-K students.
- Readiness to implement positive behavioral support strategies and contribute to an inclusive classroom.
What you'll do:
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs, focusing on cognitive, social, and motor skill development.
- Work closely with paraprofessionals and support staff to ensure a collaborative, supportive classroom environment.
- Partner with families and other educators to set and achieve developmental goals.
- Maintain thorough documentation on student progress, behaviors, and individualized education plans.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood special education.
