Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What you bring:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsements covering both Special Education and General Education for Pre-K.
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher or Paraprofessional, with a strong understanding of early childhood education.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to nurturing young learners with varying abilities.
• Skill in supporting students who are non-verbal or have limited verbal abilities.
• Ability to confidently manage toileting/diapering routines and assist with feeding for Pre-K students.
• Readiness to implement positive behavioral support strategies and contribute to an inclusive classroom.

What you'll do:

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs, focusing on cognitive, social, and motor skill development.
• Work closely with paraprofessionals and support staff to ensure a collaborative, supportive classroom environment.
• Partner with families and other educators to set and achieve developmental goals.
• Maintain thorough documentation on student progress, behaviors, and individualized education plans.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood special education.
