Client Account Manager

Job Overview The Client Account Manager will be responsible for understanding our client’s project pipelines and identifying targeted projects to strategically pursue. Once a project opportunity has been targeted, the Client Account Manager will work with the Capture Team in generating the proposal through award, negotiations and contract signature. The Client Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact throughout the proposal process to ensure that we meet the client’s strategic considerations as well as schedule and deliverables. Responsibilities Promote the services of Primoris Renewable Energy to new and existing customers, decision makers and influencers within the renewable industry. Research markets and market trends in existing and emerging markets. Provide recommendations to the team on responses to changing trends. Examine new prospective clients and recommend pursuing those opportunities. Work with Strategic Clients to identify, perform due diligence and develop strategies for opportunities. Assist in financial, schedule, logistics and execution plans to ensure project success for Primoris Renewables and the client. Secure backlog by pursuing qualified opportunities while meeting financial forecasting expectations. Communicate potential project opportunities within the organization and develop capture strategies to secure awards. Collaborate with the Capture Team, led by the Proposal Manager, to execute capture strategies during the proposal process. Act as the main point of contact for Strategic Clients during Identification, Development, Bidding, and Contracting phases. Provide post‑execution feedback on customer and influencer perceptions to inform continual improvement. Develop and maintain a strong business network within the renewable community. Actively participate in industry groups and affiliations. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or equivalent. 4 to 7+ years in the EPC industry; experience in multiple EPC departments is a plus. Previous experience in Business Development, Estimating, Proposals, or Project Management. Preference for experience in Solar, Renewable Energy or Power Generation. Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of renewable (solar) industry terminology and delivery methods. Excellent people and communication skills; ability to listen, filter and convey client information to internal stakeholders. Self‑driven, team oriented, persistent and follows through consistently. Strong organizational and presentation skills; public speaking ability. Technical knowledge of Solar PV industry preferred. Basic understanding of contractual terms, risks, mitigation measures, project financial structures and forecasting techniques. CRM skills and preference for Business Development planning and Strategic Account Management skills.
