Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide attentive and compassionate care to patients in the Neurovascular Intensive Care Unit (NVICU), utilizing advanced medical equipment and documenting all interventions in the Meditech system.

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated care based on the established patient ratios and acuity levels.
• Float to medical/surgical units and manage assignments as needed.
• Collaborate with unit secretaries and nurse externs to optimize patient care delivery.
• Perform medical procedures such as central line insertion and chest tube insertion.

Requirements:

• Active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience working in an ICU setting.
• Proficient with ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV1000, and other relevant medical equipment.
