Active North Dakota LPN license in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong documentation capabilities and attention to detail Comprehensive understanding of the LPN scope of practice Knowledge of infection control principles and patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Familiarity with pharmacological practices and nutritional guidelines relevant to patient care What will you do as a nurse – LPN You will begin each shift with a briefing from correctional staff about the patients under your care. You will collaborate with medical professionals to obtain necessary orders, deliver prescribed medications and treatments, and conduct vital sign checks. You will triage officer intake screenings, provide emergency first aid when needed, document patient care meticulously, educate patients on facility policies and discharge planning, and adhere to strict aseptic techniques and infection control procedures.
