Sales Development Manager

Sales Development Manager The Sales Development Manager builds relationships with high-profile prospects and sells cross-divisional J.B. Hunt solutions. You'll identify opportunities, win new business, guide implementation, develop long-term account strategies and transition established accounts to internal sales teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, data insights and sales tools.
• Meet with prospects to understand their needs, develop solutions, submit proposals, negotiate contracts and close business.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to plan and launch new solutions.
• Set clear implementation expectations and monitor account health, KPIs, revenue quality, growth opportunities and contract compliance.
• Create account growth strategies and opportunity roadmaps for a smooth transition to internal sales teams.

• Pipeline management and optimization
• High velocity prospecting

• High School Diploma/GED
• Three to four years of transportation, logistics or related experience
• Valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record that meets J.B. Hunt standards

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, communications or a related field
• Three to four years of transportation, logistics or related experience
• Two to three years of direct sales experience
