About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy General Counsel for Capital Markets and Strategic Transactions. The successful candidate will be a key legal advisor, leading and executing a range of complex financing transactions, including equity and debt offerings, and will be deeply involved in M&A, joint ventures, and other strategic partnerships. This role demands a hands-on, business-embedded approach, with a focus on innovative financing structures and high-impact transactions. The Deputy General Counsel will also be responsible for managing a team, mentoring legal professionals, and ensuring the legal aspects of the company's global growth are in line with its business objectives. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, be an active member of the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in leading capital markets and strategic transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in securities regulations, debt covenants, and cross-border financing structures, and experience in a hyper-growth or infrastructure-intensive company is preferred. The role requires a proven ability to act as primary deal counsel, manage legal, regulatory, and transactional risks, and develop scalable legal frameworks to support a complex and active transactional pipeline. The Deputy General Counsel will also be expected to be a strategic partner, comfortable with executive and board-level interaction, and capable of building and leading high-performing legal teams.
