Plastics Welder & Fabricator

Plastics FabricatorWe have a full-time Plastics Fabricator/Plastics Welder position available working with extrusion and hand-welding machinery. Previous experience in fabrication or welding is a plus, but we are willing to train self-motivated individuals who are punctual and have a willing-to-work attitude.Responsibilities:Read and interpret spec drawings and blueprints, schematic diagrams, and internal orders to determine appropriate set-up, production method, and sequence of operationUse a non-contact butt fusion welding technique to create partsPrecision hand-welding to assemble parts and completed piecesFollow prepared plans to ensure assembly is completed efficiently and without errorFollow instructions to ensure proper setup of machines, parts requiredEscalate concerns relating to product quality, safety, or process issues to lead or supervisorMaintain a safe and clean work environmentThis position requires standing for long periodsOvertime opportunities availableQualifications:Good hand eye coordinationPunctuality a mustGood work attendanceGood mechanical aptitudeGood math skillsWelding experienceProblem solving and good thinking skillsExperience using grinders, saws all, drills and Dremel toolsExperience with CNC machines a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to read CAD prints
