This unit is comprised of a 44-bed unit and additional 11-bed overflow unit with telemetry capabilities for surgical patients. The unit provides care to a variety of patient populations, most frequently being surgical related. The unit works closely with several different surgeon groups and patients including general surgery, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, OB-GYN surgery, bariatric surgery, and trauma-related surgery.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. This position offers an opportunity to work independently and with a team of motivated professionals to provide ongoing collaboration and learning.

Graduate from an accredited nursing program required. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
