Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit position requiring Cardiac Step Down experience and vasoactive drip management skills. Details Work in the Medical Surgical/Cardiac Step Down Unit 12-hour shifts on a day/night rotation (0700-1930 or 1900-0730) within a 6-week block Straight night shifts may be considered for interested candidates 36 hours per week Every other weekend and holiday shift required, with straight weekend schedules welcomed On-call is voluntary Requirements Active RN license (SD or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Cardiac Step Down experience required Ability to run vasoactive drips including nitro, levo, neo, and anti-arrhythmic medications, as well as cleviprex Experience with BiPAP, chest tube management, and telemetry monitoring required No previous permanent employment with Avera or Sanford health systems allowed Additional Information Provide cardiac step-down level nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and vasoactive medication management Blocked scheduling and specific scheduling requests are not accommodated These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
