Landscape and Irrigation Foreman

Job Description

The Irrigation and Landscape Foreman is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily field operations. You will manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of both softscape/hardscape elements and advanced irrigation systems, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

Crew Leadership: Direct, train, and mentor crew members on installation techniques such as pipe fitting and configuring irrigation systems per plans and operating heavy equipment
Irrigation Management: Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial/residential systems, including valves, pumps, controllers, and electrical components.
Landscape Installation: Oversee planting, sodding, mulching, and hardscape construction (e.g., retaining walls, patios) according to blueprints.
Project Coordination: Schedule work, coordinate material deliveries, and interact professionally with clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 3–5 years in landscaping and irrigation, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred to effectively communicate with diverse crews and clients.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret landscape blueprints and irrigation designs.
Licensing: Valid driver’s license
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50–80 lbs and work in various outdoor weather conditions for extended periods.
