Job Details Location: South Pasadena, CA 91030 Position: Full-Time/Part-Time Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Travel: 20+ miles Shift: Day Key Responsibilities Monitor site conditions to identify potential security concerns or safety hazards. Respond promptly to alarms and notify the police or fire department in case of emergencies, such as fires or unauthorized access. Verbally warn individuals of rule infractions and ensure compliance with property regulations. Allow authorized personnel to enter the property and monitor access points to maintain security. Monitor and enforce property removal policies to deter theft and unauthorized activities. Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities. Maintain a professional demeanor while assisting customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner. Skills and Qualifications Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred. Strong observational and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures. Minimum Requirements On‑call/Part‑time coverage of shifts at different locations. Flexible schedule; day and swing shifts required. Valid California driver license and clean driving record. Enthusiastic about counseling, training, and encouraging others. Maintain a positive attitude through challenging situations. Communicate and document thoroughly, efficiently, and professionally. Willingness to adapt to changing procedures and work environments. Deal with individuals cautiously and professionally. Follow instructions and deal tactfully/diplomatically with clients, management, and co‑workers. Adhere to and enforce policies and procedures. Take the initiative. Complete reports by documenting observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses when necessary.
