Business Development Representative-Restoration

Business Developer

This company is looking for a top Business Developer to join a fast-growing, tech-forward restoration company based in the Orange County/Anaheim area. They are seeking a highly motivated, autonomous individual with experience in business development within restoration or related industries. This role is an urgent need, and qualified candidates will be contacted ASAP!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage referral relationships throughout the Southern California territory
• Focus on generating new mitigation and reconstruction opportunities
• Build relationships with Property Management groups, Multifamily operators, Affordable Housing organizations, and other commercial referral partners
• Grow and maintain a strong book of business and referral pipeline
• Identify new opportunities and develop long-term partnerships
• Represent company at networking events, industry functions, and client meetings
• Work closely with ownership and operations to ensure a seamless transition from business development to production
• Help expand commercial presence while continuing to support its strong residential business
• Collaborate with the growing BD team and participate in a mentorship-focused environment
• Provide industry insight and market feedback to leadership as the department continues to scale
• This is an opportunity to help build the BD team and territory from the ground up, with potential for future leadership responsibilities as the company grows

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of business development, sales, or relationship-management experience; restoration/construction industry experience preferred
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong referral relationships
• Existing relationships with Property Management companies and contacts preferred
• Commercial experience strongly preferred, particularly Multifamily and Affordable Housing
• Ability to develop a referral pipeline and generate new business
• Charismatic, ambitious, self-aware, and highly relationship-oriented
• Strong communication, networking, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to help build a developing BD program
• Must be willing to work throughout the Southern California territory
• Experience in mitigation, reconstruction, restoration, or related construction services is highly preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary + 5% commission (based on experience and value)
• Benefits planned for Q1 of 2027
• Company covers vehicle servicing expenses + mileage reimbursement (vehicles planned for the BD team by Christmas)
