Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location New Orleans, LA | Emergency Room Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes Complete required facility modules during orientation as assigned In the event of an emergency or disaster, report as assigned by unit management, which may include remaining at the facility until the event passes or serving as part of a relief team Required Qualifications Active RN license — Compact or Louisiana state license required and must be in hand at time of submittal Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI (CPI must be obtained prior to start if not already held) AHA certifications required Up-to-date NURSYS report required (within 4 weeks of submission date) Must live more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from address on driver's license to facility address) — local travelers are not accepted Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have been separated for a minimum of 1 full year before being eligible to return as a traveler Preferred Experience / Skills Experience working in high-acuity or Level I/II trauma emergency environments Familiarity with facility-based onboarding and module completion processes Strong communication and adaptability skills in high-pressure situations Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a well-established, high-volume Emergency Room in one of the South's most vibrant cities Orientation modules are billable and completed during scheduled orientation hours About Concentric Healthcare Staffing Founded and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Concentric Healthcare Staffing specializes in healthcare employment with an emphasis in nursing and allied health.
