Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional, classroom aide, or in a supportive school role preferred
• Comfortable assisting students in a 1:1 setting or as a general classroom aide
• Ability to adapt support to meet the individual needs of students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
• Positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting student learning and behavior
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and fostering an inclusive learning environment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional and behavioral support to students, both individually and in small groups
• Help implement teachers’ lesson plans and modify activities to promote accessibility
• Assist with classroom management and organization
• Encourage student engagement and model appropriate behaviors and social skills
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to team members
• Foster a nurturing and respectful classroom culture
