Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a rural healthcare facility. This position involves circulating and recovering patients during surgical procedures, with on-call responsibilities required. The role supports a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Job Details Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Education Requirements: No specific degree required, at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience Location Requirements: Must have valid license in the state, compact license acceptable, within 50 miles of the facility Experience Requirement: Minimum of 1 year experience in OR nursing Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week Responsibilities include circulating and recovering patients, supporting specialty procedures such as endoscopy, and working in a rural hospital setting where nurses may need to perform multiple roles Preference for candidates with experience in Ambulatory Operating Room procedures, endoscopy, and trauma-level care Additional Details: Candidates must be able to work scheduled holidays, and respond to on-call requirements, including call 2 days a week. References covering the last 3 years are required, with specific details to be provided at submission.
