Permanency Supervisor

Average salary: $67,204.80 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.) Position Summary Texas Family Initiative (TFI) is looking for a full‑time Permanency Supervisor to add to our team. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field from an accredited four‑year college or university, and at least four years of full‑time child‑placing experience as a worker or higher in a private or state agency. Day in the Life As a Permanency Supervisor you will supervise the Permanency staff assigned to the area, promote the well‑being of children in the Permanency Services Program, participate in staff meetings and training, and coordinate with staff from other agencies involved in providing permanency services. You are expected to perform duties directly or through subordinates, and interact routinely with clients, judges, attorneys, children, school personnel, and all other aspects of the community. Responsibilities Supervise Permanency staff assigned to your area. Promote the well‑being of children in the Permanency Services Program. Participate in staff meetings and training. Coordinate with staff from other agencies involved in providing Permanency Services. Perform duties directly or through subordinates, as required. Interact routinely with clients, judges, attorneys, children, school personnel, and other community stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field from an accredited four‑year college or university. Minimum four years of full‑time child‑placing experience as a worker or above in a private or state agency.
