CNA Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct resident care while promoting comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Key Duties Include:

• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene

• Assist residents with meals, feeding, and hydration as needed

• Transport residents safely using wheelchairs and mobility equipment

• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility support

• Turn and reposition residents to promote comfort and prevent skin breakdown

• Obtain and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other resident information

• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team

• Complete accurate and timely documentation

• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents

• Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in the State of Montana

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare setting

Preferred:

• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, memory care, senior care, or healthcare environments

• Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care practices
