Make a real difference supporting students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic school-based environment. These contract roles are available for the upcoming school year, providing essential coverage for leaves of absence. Multiple openings are available, each offering up to 30 hours per week across five days. All positions are onsite, allowing you to collaborate closely with educators and students, contributing your expertise where it matters most. Responsibilities Work directly with students under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services in a school setting Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies Assist in developing therapy materials and adapting activities to meet diverse student needs Communicate clearly and compassionately with students, parents, and staff members Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning and student support efforts Qualifications Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or equivalent Valid SLPA license or certification as required by the state Previous school-based experience or pediatric therapy experience is preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative educational environment Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical practice Available Assignment Periods August 5, 2026 October 30, 2026 August 5, 2026 February 27, 2027 August 5, 2026 October 30, 2026 Step into a vibrant school community, work alongside passionate peers, and bring your SLPA expertise to create positive outcomes for children in need of support.
