Role Overview

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for coordinating and delivering individualized therapy services to patients across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. Key duties include evaluating patients, developing and implementing customized treatment plans, utilizing therapeutic activities to promote health, and documenting progress and outcomes. The role involves effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care. It also requires participation in program development, ongoing professional growth, and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist
• Ability to perform essential functions with adequate visual and communication skills
• Preferred 1-3 years of clinical patient care experience
• Strong team collaboration, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and modify patient treatment programs based on ongoing assessments
• Provide direct therapy in various settings, tailored to patient capabilities and care plans
• Maintain thorough documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients’ families
• Participate in departmental program development and professional development activities
