Manufacturing AssemblerThe Manufacturing Assembler is responsible for assembling parts, components, and subassemblies according to documented work instructions, drawings, and quality requirements. This role supports production goals by ensuring products are assembled accurately, safely, and in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble components and products using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and equipment according to work instructions and drawingsFollow established assembly sequences, requirements, and quality checkpointsMeet daily production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standardsQuality & DocumentationPerform basic visual inspections to ensure parts meet specificationsAccurately complete production records, travelers, and checklistsIdentify and report nonconforming parts, tooling issues, or process deviationsSafety & ComplianceFollow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standardsAdhere to manufacturing, quality, and regulatory proceduresMaintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas (5S practices)Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDStrong attention to detailEffective written and verbal communicationAbility to read and follow written work instructions and basic drawingsManual dexterity and ability to work with small or precision componentsAbility to stand, sit, or perform repetitive tasks for extended periodsPreferred Qualifications1+ year of experience in manufacturing or assemblyExperience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, etc.)Familiarity with mechanical fasteners, electrical assemblies, and basic hand/power toolsExperience with quality systems such as ISO 9001 or AS9100This role is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment and may require standing, lifting, repetitive motion, and use of hand and power tools.
